Cardknox Gift Card Program Instructions

Welcome to the Cardknox gift card program!
You’re well on your way to increasing sales and brand awareness!

Cardknox Merchant Portal clients will be granted access to the Gift Card module available on the left-hand navigation of the portal. This module allows you to issue, track, and redeem cards, as well as generate reporting for individual gift card activity and overall liabilities by branch location.

Getting Started

  1. Send the printer of your choice the gift card numbers you receive from Cardknox. Your chosen printer will print physical gift cards you can sell to your customers.

How to Use Gift Cards in the Cardknox Merchant Portal

Issuing a Gift Card

  1. To load credit on a new gift card, start by navigating to the Transactions tab.
  2. Select New Transaction and complete the necessary customer information.
  3. Enter the amount you’d like to load on the gift card and select Gift Issue from the drop-down menu.
  4. Next, enter the gift card number and the customer’s email address, then click Process.

Redeeming a Gift Card

  1. To redeem a gift card, navigate to the Transactions tab.
  2. Select New Transaction and complete the necessary customer information.
  3. Enter the amount you’d like to redeem and select Gift Redeem from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the gift card number and the customer’s email address, then click Process.
